  1. Old Business

    1. Restoration of gas services

      1. Gas service was restored in August by Rick Brennan.

    2. New cemetery section progress

      1. About 1/4 of the space has been graded.

      2. New section will tentatively follow a layout of 5 rows, 4 across.

    3. Tax exemption status

      1. Currently at standstill; records have been sent.

    4. Soldier Circle update

      1. Ellis has made exceptional progress, and is nearly finished with the installation of all requested new markers.

      2. Two markers are unable to be updated due to incorrect original records of service.

    5. Eagle Scout project

      1. Concrete platform has been poured inside the podium area.

      2. The Scout will be doing a ceremony to close out the project at a future date.

    6. Meetings with State Leaders

      1. Rick Brennan has been in contact with Senator Jay Costa.


  1. New Business

    1. Board members

      1. Approval of removing Kevin Ondo from Board, due to lack of appearance at a single meeting for over one calendar year.

        1. Approval of new amendment to By-Laws stating that to retain status as a Board Member, one must be present for at least 6 meetings per calendar year.

      2. Approval of new Board Member, Roberta Kacinko.

    2. University of Pittsburgh Graduate Partnership

      1. Meetings between the graduate students and Board Members and volunteers have begun.

    3. Fall Workers Program

      1. Four student workers have signed on, and are eligible to work up to 90 hours.

    4. Committal report

      1. Interments - 2

      2. Inurnments - 0

    5. Sale of lots

      1. Letter is being penned by Thomas Barefoot to be distributed to local funeral homes.

    6. Perpetual Care Fund

      1. Mutual fund was opened on 27 Sep 2022

      2. Half of any committal fee, monument/footer fee, or property sale will be placed in perpetual care.

        1. This will accrue funds from stocks, bonds, etc., and will grow over time.

        2. This ensures the Cemetery will NEVER again fall into bankruptcy.
