Vincent T. Ciaramella, a Pittsburgh native, has been teaching Psychology and Anthropology for 15 years at Insight Pennsylvania. He is also an enthusiastic baseball and boxing historian who specializes in Pittsburgh sports history spanning from the late 19th century through World War I, with a concentration in the historic Negro Leagues baseball teams.

Vince has published nine books (with another on the way), including “Jack McClelland: The Pride of Pittsburg,” “Greats in the Graveyard: A Compendium,” “Never Heard of Him: 12 Tales from Pittsburgh's Baseball Past,” and “Never Heard of Them Either: 12 More Tales from Pittsburgh's Baseball Past.”

He is also a board member with the Negro Leagues Memorial Markers Project, an initiative of the Josh Gibson Foundation. You can learn more about the marker project at jgfmemorialmarkers.org.
